Teaching methods for Middle School are designed to address the unique developmental needs of students aged 11 to 14, who are transitioning from childhood to adolescence. At this stage, our educators focus on fostering critical thinking, independence and social skills through a variety of engaging and interactive approaches.
Group work and peer interactions are encouraged to share ideas, develop communication skills and learn from one another, through projects and discussions allowing students to explore topics in depth while building teamwork skills. Along with this, hands-on approach is used to make learning relevant and helps students apply their knowledge in practical contexts that require them to research, plan and execute tasks, through the Visualise-Locate-Connect method and Push and Pull strategies, where teachers tailor their lessons to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. This include offering varied assignments, using flexible grouping strategies and providing additional support for struggling students. Utilizing educational technology—such as online resources, simulations and interactive tools—enhances engagement and provides students with diverse ways to access information and demonstrate their understanding.
