Celebrations

At TWS, we celebrate major festivals as an integral part of our school’s ethos, providing students with a deeper understanding of diverse traditions and values. From Diwali, Christmas and Eid to regional festivals like Pongal and Onam, along with learning going hand in hand by celebrating Hindi Divas and Yoga Day. Proving the patriotic mindset of the students, they cheer up for Independence Day, Republic Day and celebrating birthdays of great leaders. Each occasion is marked with joy, inclusivity and respect for all cultures.

Students are encouraged to participate in various activities such as cultural performances, traditional games, art and craft and food fairs, where they explore the significance and customs behind each festival. Special assemblies, storytelling sessions and presentations help students gain insight into the historical and spiritual aspects of these occasions.

The celebrations foster a sense of community, allowing students from different backgrounds to share their traditions, promoting respect and inclusivity. Parents and staff also play an active role, contributing to the festive spirit with decorations, performances, and contributions to the events.
