At TWS, students are actively encouraged to participate in Model United Nations (MUN) conferences, allowing them to step into the roles of diplomats, engage in debates and negotiate solutions to global issues, thereby develop critical skills such as public speaking, diplomacy, problem-solving and teamwork, while gaining a deeper understanding of global politics and international relations.
Each year, we also host our own MUN conference on campus, bringing together students from various schools to simulate the workings of the United Nations. Our school’s MUN provides a platform for students to discuss pressing global challenges such as climate change, human rights and international security. Through these simulations, is developed a strong sense of global citizenship, critical thinking and confidence, preparing students to become informed and create responsibility towards global issues as they are the next generation of leaders.
